RivianRivian is ramping production of its R2 and plans to add a second shift at its Normal, Illinois facility by the end of September. Deliveries of the R2 began in June, and the company has raised its full-year delivery target to 65,000–70,000 vehicles. Normal is set for up to 155,000 R2s on three shifts, with a third shift planned for 2027.
