Rivian says the R2 can add up to 38 miles of range per hour using a hardwired Rivian Wall Charger supplying 11 kW on a 60-amp circuit. With a NEMA 14-50 outlet and the Rivian Portable Charger, it charges at about 7.6 kW for roughly 25 miles per hour. The R2 reaches 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes on DC fast charging, with about 73,000 DC fast chargers across North America.
