Reliance Industries plans Rs 12,500 crore raise via local-currency bonds
Reliance Industries plans to raise up to Rs 12,500 crore through five-year local-currency notes with a 7.47% coupon, including an initial Rs 10,000 crore offer and a greenshoe option for another Rs 2,500 crore. The issuance is expected to be the biggest listed bond sale in India’s domestic market this year, led by Axis, ICICI, HDFC and YES as arrangers, after a slower start driven by firms favoring bank loans.
