Qantas to retire Airbus A380 early and add new 787 business suites
Qantas will retire its Airbus A380 about four years earlier than planned, while having already ordered 24 new twin-aisle jets—12 Airbus A350s and 12 Boeing 787 Dreamliners—to replace the older A330 and A380 fleets. The Boeing 787 will get new business-class suites with sliding privacy doors, available on three routes from the U.S. to Australia.
