Progressive Life Insurance Company Limited has offered real estate assets for sale to raise funds for a backlog of insurance claims totaling Tk159.23 crore. A tender invites bids for commercial spaces, flats, parking and land in Dhaka and Moulvibazar, due by 22 September 2026. Only Tk10.67 crore has been settled (6.28%), while its Life Insurance Fund stands at Tk64.80 crore. The firm has not paid dividends since 2020 and is in a junk category.
