Portugal Opens Talks With Air France-KLM and Lufthansa for TAP Bid
Portugal will open talks with Air France-KLM and Lufthansa after Parpública delivered its review of the two binding offers for TAP Air Portugal. Air France-KLM and Lufthansa submitted bids to buy 44.5% of TAP, following the withdrawal of IAG. The partial sale allows up to 49.9% to private investors, with 5% reserved for employees, while the state stays the majority shareholder. Joint management could start in 2026.
