Portillo’s appointed Kevin Kalicak as chief financial officer and treasurer, effective Sept. 7. He joins from Darden Restaurants, most recently serving as senior vice president of finance for Olive Garden, overseeing financial operations for a brand with more than 900 restaurants and about $5 billion in annual sales. Portillo’s also said he will receive a one-time restricted stock unit award valued at $825,000.
