Porsche to form EU CO₂ pool with Xpeng for 2026-2027
Porsche withdrew from Volkswagen’s emissions pool and will form an open EU CO₂ pooling arrangement with Xpeng for 2026 and 2027. The setup is meant to provide flexibility for the shift to electric mobility, but Porsche must still meet EU requirements separately for its own brands. Porsche’s Western Europe BEV volumes fell about 30% year on year in 2026.
