Pizza Hut’s store footprint has continued to shrink, with closures extending into this year. At the end of fiscal year 2025, the chain operated 5,031 U.S. locations, a net loss of 206 from the start of the year. Pizza Hut closed 259 franchised locations across 40 states in 2025 and also closed two company-owned stores in two states.
