Philips Wins $33.7M ARPA-H Grant for AI Robotic Stroke Care
Philips will collaborate with Johns Hopkins University and Boston University to build AI-enabled, increasingly automated endovascular procedures on its Azurion platform. Johns Hopkins will work on autonomous device navigation, while Boston University will develop steerable catheters. The effort is backed by a $33.7 million ARPA-H grant to advance robotic automation for stroke care.
