Pfizer is reshaping its clinical drug development pipeline into an AI-native model, using machine learning and natural language processing to mine proprietary and external trial content. It deploys models federatedly to domain experts to speed day-to-day research. Using Charlie and AWS tools, the approach has driven $4–$5 billion in net cost savings and targets an additional $2.5 billion in projected productivity gains.
