Petrobras Q2 net income nearly doubles as oil output reaches record
Petrobras reported R$52.4 billion net income for Q2 2026, up 97% year over year, helped by higher oil output and stronger crude prices. Adjusted EBITDA rose to R$93.8 billion and operating cash flow increased 46%. Own oil output hit 2.7 million bpd and total production reached a record 3.34 million boe/d, alongside higher diesel and jet fuel output. Investment totaled R$26.7 billion and gross debt was $70.8 billion, below its ceiling.
