Persimmon Raises Full-Year Outlook on Burnham Housing Push
Persimmon lifted its full-year outlook, saying it is well placed to benefit from UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s housing and cost-cutting agenda, even as building costs rise amid the Iran war. For the first six months, pre-tax profit rose 15% to £168m and homes built increased 13%, though cost pressures are expected to worsen and may not be fully offset.
