Pershing Square invests $1.09B in Mastercard and starts S&P Global position
Regulatory filings show Pershing Square began new positions in the financial infrastructure space, including buying 2.12 million Mastercard shares worth about $1.09 billion and opening a stake in S&P Global valued near $1.06 billion. In the same quarter it built more than $3 billion combined exposure across Visa, Mastercard and S&P Global, while reporting strong earnings and returning capital via buybacks and dividends.
