Better-for-you brands from PepsiCo and Kraft Heinz were subpoenaed by the Texas attorney general over whether products labeled as made with avocado oil are adulterated with cheaper oils. The probe follows a UC Davis study finding most processed foods claiming avocado oil contained other oils. Kraft Heinz-owned Primal Kitchen said it takes the concerns seriously.
