Pennsylvania American Water will raise water and wastewater prices for former Butler Area Sewer Authority customers after Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission approval, aligning their bills with other customers statewide. The company says added revenue will fund $1.2 billion in water and wastewater investments through mid-2027. Butler bills will rise about $31.13 per month, with expanded bill assistance via the H2O Help to Others Program.
