Paytm’s Soundbox is expanding from payment notifications to an AI-driven layer that supports small merchants’ sales, onboarding, and business insights. By end of Q1 FY27, subscription merchants reached 1.57 crore. Paytm also builds agents for marketing and customer servicing, and financial services distribution revenue rose 45% YoY to ₹814 crore, with over half of loan disbursals to repeat borrowers.
