PayPal Cuts About 220 Jobs in India as Restructuring Moves Ahead
PayPal has eliminated about 220 roles in India as part of a previously announced multi-year restructuring program to simplify operations and improve execution. The company targets $400m in savings by year-end and at least $1.5bn over 2–3 years through flatter structures, productivity gains, and expanded AI and automation. The cuts equate to nearly 4% of PayPal India’s 6,000+ workforce.
