Partners Group Eyes Transport as AI Data-Center Capital Crowds Infrastructure
Partners Group is increasing focus on transport and logistics as capital flowing into AI and data centres reduces competition in some traditional infrastructure sectors. It expects to announce two to five infrastructure transactions before year-end and is targeting 20 to 25 assets, while keeping data-centre exposure around 20% of its direct portfolio. It exited atNorth, selling it to CPP Investments and Equinix in a deal valuing Partners Group’s stake at USD 4bn.
