Panasonic is set to sell its European business employing about 1,960 people in Slovakia to Midas Atlantic Partners and The Najafi Companies. The deal covers Panasonic Industrial Devices Slovakia plants in Trstená and Stará Ľubovňa, while Panasonic keeps some Slovak production. Excluded activities will move to a new wholly owned Panasonic Slovak company.
