Pacifica Hotels G.K. and Furano Hospitality G.K. have signed a franchise agreement with Marriott International to open Westin Hokkaido Furano Resort, the first Westin in Hokkaido and Japan. Construction began in August 2026 with an opening planned for summer 2029, featuring 195 rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, spa facilities, and baths near Kitanomine Gondola Station.
