Oracle Surges After Strong Q1 Results Fueled by AI Cloud Demand
Oracle shares jumped after reporting first-quarter revenue of $19.3 billion, above estimates, and adjusted EPS of $1.92. Cloud revenue rose to $11.6 billion, and the company added over $30 billion in additional AI cloud contracts, lifting remaining performance obligations to $664 billion. Oracle also added 850 megawatts of data center capacity and raised its full-year outlook.
