Oracle Health’s AI-backed patient portal is now generally available in the U.S., either included for existing Oracle customers under contract terms or sold as a standalone offering. Built on OpenAI foundation models, it is integrated with Oracle’s EHR and aims to translate medical jargon into plain language. The portal lets users review records, schedule visits, and get AI explanations, with guardrails that block diagnoses or medical advice and clearly flag AI-generated text.
