Oracle Announces Up to $1 Million for Carbon Capture Research in New Mexico

Oracle announced up to $1 million in funding to support research on carbon capture and sequestration at Project Jupiter and across New Mexico. The work will assess capturing carbon dioxide tied to Bloom Energy fuel cells, enabling safe, efficient capture, pathway for permanent storage, and a model for transportation and industrial use. Oracle also cites prior New Mexico investments in water systems, schools and infrastructure, workforce development, and nearly 1,000 onsite residents, with about $100 million in tax revenue.
