OpenAI Ends Cursor Model Access After SpaceX Acquisition
OpenAI said it is ending developers access to its models on Cursor after SpaceX acquired the coding startup earlier this month. OpenAI models account for about 5% of Cursor user traffic, and OpenAI says it will not provide future models as it winds down the agreement. Cursor’s CEO said the proposed shutoff date is Nov. 12, 2026.
