Ola Electric Signs MoU With Axis Energy for Up to 20 GWh BESS
Ola Electric Mobility has signed a memorandum of understanding with Axis Energy to potentially deploy up to 20 GWh of battery energy storage systems by 2032, with up to 5 GWh of annual BESS capacity targeted from 2028. The non-binding pact marks Ola’s move into utility-scale storage, supported by Axis’s renewable pipeline and a government viability-gap scheme for storage growth.
