Ohio Ultium Cells plant to restart battery production for GM EVs

Ultium Cells said that a majority of previously laid-off workers will return to the joint-venture battery-cell plant in Ohio as production restarts for GM electric vehicles. The facility expects 1,400 employees in total. The company halted cell production in January due to a drop in consumer demand for electric vehicles, and is now resuming operations.
