NYK to buy out Fujitsu stake in YJK Solutions to gain full control
Nippon Yusen Kaisha is taking full control of YJK Solutions by agreeing to acquire Fujitsu’s 51% stake in the Tokyo-based maritime IT company. NYK already holds 49%, and the deal will make YJK a wholly owned subsidiary on October 1. YJK supports shipping, ports and logistics IT systems and engineering services. NYK is also considering combining YJK with NYK Business Systems as part of technology centralisation.
