NYK buys Fujitsu’s 51% stake in YJK Solutions for full control
Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) will acquire Fujitsu’s 51% stake in YJK Solutions to take full control of the Tokyo-based maritime IT firm, moving it to a wholly owned subsidiary after the deal closes on October 1. YJK develops and runs IT systems for shipping, ports, and logistics, and may merge with NYK Business Systems to centralize group technology.
