Nvidia Plans $279B Supply Commitments for AI Memory Chips

During second-quarter earnings, Nvidia CFO Colette Kress said the company will make $279B in supply commitments over the next few years, up from $119B three months earlier. $92B is due for the remainder of fiscal 2027, followed by $87B in fiscal 2028 and $88B in 2029. Data center revenue reached $89B in fiscal 2027’s second quarter and is guiding toward $108B for fiscal Q3, while DRAM and HBM pricing pressures margins.
