Nvidia in talks to back Perplexity in round valuing it above $30B

Nvidia is reportedly in talks to invest in Perplexity as part of a funding round that would value the AI startup at more than $30 billion, The Information said. The round could lift its valuation by over 50% from a year ago. Perplexity’s annualised revenue is cited at over $750 million, and Nvidia has not commented while Perplexity declined to respond.
