Nvidia in Talks to Acquire Hugging Face for More Than $13B
Nvidia is in talks to acquire Hugging Face, the AI platform for sharing and building with open-source models, in a deal that could be among the chip maker’s biggest yet. No agreement has been reached and talks could still collapse. Nvidia has said it will commit $18 billion to equity investments for the rest of its fiscal year, and already has a relationship with Hugging Face after it previously offered $500 million.
