Nvidia rejected claims that it will roll out a China-specific AI chip by year-end, saying it has no LPU sales in China today and no China-focused LPU product on its roadmap. Earlier reports said Nvidia planned small-batch shipments of a China-compatible LPU version using Groq-licensed technology alongside GPUs, with software adjusted to run on available China processors after Vera Rubin was barred by U.S. export rules; Nvidia CEO previously noted Huawei as its main rival.
