Nvidia, AMD, Micron Fall as Iran Tensions Hit Chip Stocks
Nvidia shares and other major semiconductor stocks slid Tuesday amid renewed uncertainty around U.S.-Iran negotiations that weighed on technology markets. Nvidia fell about 2% after committing more than $100 billion in credit support for an OpenAI data center project in Ohio, and investing $1.5 billion in SB Energy. Broad declines pulled the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 lower.
