NuScale Power develops small modular reactors and is the only SMR developer with a key Nuclear Regulatory Commission approval. The company has one firmly committed project, the Doicești SMR in Romania, and is seeking additional firm commitments via a partnership with ENTRA1, including fuel-cycle infrastructure and spent-fuel processing using Curio’s recycling process. The modules are not expected to meet AI data centers’ immediate power needs.
