Nurses Protest Palantir’s Healthcare AI Role Outside 8VC in Austin
Dozens of protesters gathered near Riverside Drive and South Congress Avenue to protest Palantir, citing its software, data integration and AI in healthcare. The crowd met outside Austin venture firm 8VC because co-founder Joe Lonsdale helped found Palantir. Nurses said HCA Healthcare uses Palantir-linked tools through the Timpani scheduling app and argued decisions should be human, not automated. 8VC co-founder Jake Medwell came out after speeches.
