Novo starts OASIS-5 study to test lowest Wegovy maintenance doses

Novo Nordisk began the OASIS-5 study on Aug. 12, running through 2028, to test lower strengths of the daily Wegovy maintenance dose than the current 25 mg long-term level. The 60-week trial will recruit 450 adults with weight challenges to assess waist changes, other health benefits, and side effects, aiming for better patient flexibility.
