Novavax Pushes Matrix-M Licensing as Oncology Work Advances at Cantor
Novavax outlined a strategy to expand Matrix-M adjuvant use via licensing partnerships, internal research, and commercialization alliances. CEO John Jacobs said the company shifted from COVID-19 commercialization to licensing over three years, with four of the world’s 10 largest pharma partners working with it, including Sanofi and Pfizer. Management also highlighted Matrix-M’s use in Nuvaxovid and R21 and early oncology work, with Sanofi in advanced regulator discussions for COVID-19/flu combination Phase III.
