Novartis plans to stop small-volume biologics production at its Kleinbasel site by end-2027, which could eliminate about 130 jobs. Biological cell bank, analytical testing and technical development work will move to the company’s Basel campus by end-2028 to support a new biologics technical development center. The firm says it will handle consultations with respect and transparency.
