Northrop Grumman Opens Propulsion Innovation Center in Cecil County, Maryland
Northrop Grumman opened a 57,000-square-foot Propulsion Innovation Center at its Cecil County manufacturing and testing facility, expanding its Maryland footprint. The center will support hypersonic air-breathing propulsion systems and solid rocket motors, and the company expects additional high-skilled engineering and manufacturing jobs in the region. The project follows a new Hanover facility and includes 250 employees designing and manufacturing controls for defense and space systems.
