Nokia has opened a new research and development center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to accelerate AI-powered network automation. The facility will work on AI-driven service management and orchestration, Self-Organizing Networks, Autopilot, and rApps to make communications networks more autonomous, efficient, and sustainable. The move aims to build local AI and software talent and create exportable Made in Saudi technology aligned with Vision 2030.
