Nissan Recalls 2025 Altima Sedans Over Airbag Bolt Issue
Nissan recalled 149 2025-model-year Altima sedans after finding a defect that could cause the front passenger and passenger knee airbags to deploy improperly or not at all. An NHTSA report says incorrect mounting bolts were used during assembly, risking reduced load-bearing capacity. Dealers will replace the four fasteners free of charge, with owner notifications due by Sept. 25.
