Nissan Plans Japan Production Reorganization to Reach 1 Million Units
Nissan expects to raise annual vehicle production in Japan to 1 million units by reorganizing domestic operations over the next few years. The company plans to launch a new compact model in Japan and abroad, transfer production of the Serena and Elgrand from Kyushu plants to the Tochigi plant, and keep producing sports cars and electric vehicles at its eastern Japan site.
