Nissan AI factory robots can haul 4,000 pounds and coordinate deliveries
Nissan is rolling out new AMR robots to replace some forklift trips at a plant, with units communicating with Nissan production equipment to adjust deliveries in real time. While forklift operators remain available when automation needs help, Powerhouse Controls staff have worked around the clock on software integration. Sixty-four workers will move into different jobs as some roles disappear.
