Nio, BYD and Xiaomi have committed a combined 22 million yuan toward emergency relief, temporary resettlement and post-disaster reconstruction for areas affected by a mudslide in Gyirong, Xizang. By 8:00 am Beijing time on August 27, the disaster had killed 3 people and left 558 missing, as rescue efforts continued. BYD donated 10 million yuan via the China Charity Federation, while Xiaomi allocated 10 million yuan in disaster-relief reserves.
