Ngarlawangga Aboriginal Corporation and Rio Tinto have signed an Interim Modernised Agreement to strengthen their partnership and provide long-term benefits for the Ngarlawangga People. The interim deal supports a jointly designed co-management approach that gives the Ngarlawangga People a voice in how cultural heritage is managed and maintained, building on their 2011 Participation Agreement.
