NextDC’s Water and Energy Efficiency Ratios Worsen as Profit Rises

NextDC reported its water usage effectiveness (WUE) rising to 2.40 litres per kilowatt-hour and its power usage effectiveness (PUE) increasing to 1.49, both worsening for a third straight year. Higher water use reflected portfolio growth and more commissioning activity, alongside reconciliations and checks of water data, leaks and meter anomalies. Revenue rose 16% and profit swung to A$82.1 million.
