Nexstar Reports Record $2.0 Billion Second-Quarter Revenue
Nexstar posted record second-quarter results with all-time-high revenue spurred by the TEGNA acquisition, strong political advertising and growing streaming ads, plus incremental World Cup advertising on FOX affiliates. The company extended CBS affiliations in 36 markets, expanded The CW with WWE NXT live events, and reported audience gains across outlets. It also launched 30 Days of Giving, awarding $300,000 to 60 nonprofits, and earned dozens of Edward R. Murrow awards.
