New York Signs IBM Deal for AI and Hybrid Cloud Access for Agencies

New York state’s ITS has signed an agreement with IBM to give participating agencies access to IBM AI and hybrid cloud software. The expected $6 million in taxpayer savings supports a broader cost-cutting strategy, with 14 enterprise agreements totaling $58 million in annual savings. Agencies will be onboarded over time to modernize operations and expand AI use.
