New Hampshire Receives $7.28M PFAS Settlement Payment from 3M for Water Systems

New Hampshire received a $7.278 million payment from 3M as part of PFAS-related settlements for public drinking water providers, bringing total recoveries to more than $43 million. Payments are expected through at least 2033 and will be deposited in the state’s Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund to support eligible public water systems addressing PFAS contamination.
